Some actors get so into their roles that they unwittingly start to imitate their characters. Ella Purnell, who plays Jinx in Arcane and is also known for her work on Fallout, admitted that she wrecked the studio while recording her lines.
In a recent interview in honor of the release of the second act of Arcane, the actress told how she accidentally broke the recording booth while reading her lines. She had to voice Jinx's fight scene, and Ella Purnell got «a little» carried away:
And distruction of the vocal booths. Do you remember that? But no, it's just like, act like a crazy person, I do like a karate chop movements in my booth, and like make sounds. Make sounds and occasionally break things.
The actress would not have told about this incident if not for Arcane showrunner Christian Linke. He was so impressed by the unconventional approach that he now constantly reminds Ella Purnell of the chaos during the recording.
Recall that today the final episodes of the second season of Arkane were released on Netflix. There will be no official continuation of the series.
