New information about the upcoming animated film Shrek 5 continues to surface online. According to recent rumors, Puss in Boots—a major character in the franchise since the second film—will not appear in the new movie. However, the character might get a full-fledged third solo film instead.

The rumor comes from insider channel MyTimeToShineHello, which previously accurately predicted Zendaya’s involvement in Shrek 5.
