J.K. Rowling Reviews Early Scripts for HBO's Harry Potter Series and Shares Her Thoughts

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has read early drafts of the scripts for the upcoming HBO television adaptation and shared her reaction publicly. According to Rowling, she’s pleased with the writers’ work and praised the initial episodes.
I read the first two episodes of the forthcoming HBO Harry Potter series and they are SO, SO, SO GOOD!

Rowling noted on social media that she is not directly involved with the show’s production team, but she is in contact with the "extremely talented writers" who provided her with the drafts.
The first season of the Harry Potter reboot is set to premiere on HBO in 2027. Recently, Rowling also gave her approval to the casting choices for Harry, Ron, and Hermione. She has stated that she does not plan to influence the showrunners’ creative decisions, including the casting of Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape.
