The creators of the upcoming sci-fi film Avatar: Fire and Ash have unveiled the first official poster. It was also announced that the trailer will debut exclusively in theaters this weekend, ahead of screenings of the superhero movie Fantastic Four: First Steps.
Avatar: Fire and Ash is the third installment in the franchise, set to premiere on December 19 this year. The fourth and fifth films are expected to follow. James Cameron returns as director.
The film’s budget is estimated at around $250 million.
As a reminder, James Cameron previously shared his wife’s reaction after watching the third Avatar film, saying, "She bawled for four hours."
