Apple TV+ is teasing a brand-new series from Vince Gilligan, the mastermind behind Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Three years ago, Apple signed a deal with Gilligan to develop an original show, and now the company has launched a countdown to its official announcement.
The series will star Rhea Seehorn, best known for her role in Better Call Saul. Details are still under wraps — the project has been described as a "grounded genre drama," and it’s expected to be quite different from the crime themes of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.
More information, including the title, release date, and plot, will be revealed on Friday, July 25. The series is likely to premiere this fall and is shaping up to be one of Apple TV+’s biggest releases of the year.
As a reminder, we previously reported that actor Daniel Moncada, known for playing Leonel Salamanca in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, has recently become a gaming streamer.
