First Teaser Trailer for the New Silent Hill 2 Movie Released — Features Pyramid Head and Main Protagonist

The first teaser trailer for the upcoming horror movie Return to Silent Hill has been released. This is the third film adaptation based on Konami’s iconic horror game series. The trailer gives us a first look at the main character James, played by Jeremy Irvine, as well as the terrifying Pyramid Head.

The film is directed by Christophe Gans, who also helmed the original 2006 "Silent Hill" movie. He co-wrote the screenplay with Sandra Vo-Anh and Will Schneider.
The movie is based on the plot of the cult classic Silent Hill 2, which received a highly praised remake in 2024 from both players and critics.
The story follows James Sunderland, who receives a mysterious letter from his beloved Mary (played by Hannah Emily Anderson). He travels to the eerie town of Silent Hill to find her, only to confront nightmarish monsters and a horrifying truth that pushes him to the edge of madness.
The film is produced by Davis Films, Samuel Hadida, and Victor Hadida. The premiere is set for January 23, 2026.
