Netflix Sets October Release for 'The Witcher' Season 4

Despite the lack of official updates on the fourth season of The Witcher, Netflix still plans to release it in the near future. According to Redanian Intelligence, the show will premiere at the end of October this year.
Previously, it was assumed that the series would be pushed back to 2026, but Netflix will likely release season 4 around October 30. Moreover, all eight episodes will drop on the streaming platform at once — unlike earlier seasons, which were split into parts. In addition, the spin-off about Ciri and the Rats gang will still see the light of day: after cuts, the troubled project has been reworked into a feature-length film, with a premiere planned for the end of the year.
Season 4 will mark the debut of Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia, a role previously played by Henry Cavill, who left the project in 2022. The series will also introduce canonical characters from Andrzej Sapkowski’s saga, including the dwarf Zoltan Chivay, medic Shani, and vampire Regis.
The most recent Witcher TV project was the anime The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep, which you can read a review of here.
