Empire magazine has shared another exclusive still from James Cameron’s upcoming sci-fi blockbuster Avatar: Fire and Ash. This time, fans get a look at the fierce Ash People launching an attack on the Windtraders.
The image teases another aerial battle — but now featuring the hostile Na’vi tribe. According to early details, the Ash People will embody the darker side of Pandora’s natives, while the Windtraders will serve as allies to the film’s protagonists. The still also shows an air nomad vessel where the clash takes place.
Avatar: Fire and Ash will explore the ongoing conflict between the Na’vi and humans on Pandora, drawing even more tribes into the struggle. The recent trailer introduced a new antagonist — Varang, the leader of the Ash People — and showcased humans joining forces with the fiery Na’vi against the main heroes.
Avatar: Fire and Ash premieres on December 19 this year. Recently, another still surfaced online, featuring Harry Potter star David Thewlis in his role.
