Season 2 of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Will Premiere in Fall 2026
At the 2025 New York Comic Con, Marvel Animation announced that the second season of the animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will premiere in the fall of 2026 on Disney+.
During the festival, the debut trailer for the new season was also revealed, showcasing iconic characters such as Venom, Gwen Stacy, Daredevil, Norman and Harry Osborn, Doctor Octopus, Chameleon, and Scorpion.
The events of the animated series take place in an alternate universe. Instead of Tony Stark, Norman Osborn, the CEO of Oscorp, is portrayed as the mentor to the young Peter Parker. Rather than Mary Jane and Ned, Peter's new friends are Harry Osborn and Nico Minoru.
The first season concluded with several unexpected twists. Doctor Strange assisted Spidey in defeating the extraterrestrial symbiote Venom, which had arrived from another dimension. Norman Osborn secretly retained a portion of the symbiote for experiments. Additionally, it was revealed that Peter's father, Richard, long thought to be deceased, is actually alive and imprisoned.
