The authors of the series The Boys showed the first posters of the final season of the project. The premiere is expected in 2026.

The fifth season of the series will put an end to the confrontation between the Boys and Homelander. In addition, the conflict between the latter and the Soldier must be resolved.

The plot will revolve around an attempt by the Boys to stop a Homelander who has imposed martial law in the United States. This can lead to a full-fledged war between supers and humans.

The new posters depict the main characters — Homelander and Butcher. The first one rose above the Ground, engulfed in fire. And the second one goes against the background of debris with the inscription Vought. They probably remained after the destruction of the headquarters of the multibillion-dollar corporation that led the «Seven» supers.

Filming of the final episode of the series ended in June of this year. Actress Erin Moriarty, who played the role of Starlight, posted a touching farewell and posted photos from the filming process.
