Rumor: Brad Pitt Tipped to Play the Villain in New Batman Movie

It’s also noted that Pitt has a longstanding working relationship with Warner Bros. and has collaborated on several projects with Robert Pattinson, making the casting choice a logical move from the studio’s perspective.

Fan speculation is already narrowing down Pitt’s potential roles to two main candidates: Harvey Dent or Tommy Elliot, better known as Hush—though there’s been no official confirmation for either theory. Some are also suggesting he could play Dr. Arkham. Johansson’s role remains under wraps as well, but many believe she might portray Andrea Beaumont, a character first made famous in the cult-favorite animated Batman movie.

Matt Reeves himself has previously hinted that the antagonist in the sequel will be a character who hasn’t truly been brought to the big screen before, emphasizing the importance of secrecy to preserve the film’s detective story elements and deliver genuine surprises for audiences.
