Matt Damon, Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson in new footage of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey

New footage from Christopher Nolan's upcoming film The Odyssey has appeared on the Internet. The audience was shown the characters of Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson and Himesh Patel.

The main role in the film went to Matt Damon. He played Odysseus, who returns home after the Trojan War.

Robert Pattinson played Antinous, a Greek warrior who molested Odysseus' wife.

Anne Hathaway will play the role of Penelope, Odysseus' wife. Her son, Telemachus, was played by Tom Holland.

Christopher Nolan shot the film in 91 days. The work took place all over Europe, from Italy to Scotland. The Odyssey will premiere on July 17, 2026.

Earlier it became known that the film will feature full-size mechanical creatures, including cyclops Polyphemus. Filming of this part of the film took place in Greece.
