Marvel Unveils Second Teaser Trailer for Avengers: Doomsday — This One Focuses on Thor and His Prayer
Marvel Entertainment has dropped the second teaser trailer for the upcoming superhero blockbuster Avengers: Doomsday. This time, the spotlight is on Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth.
The short trailer runs just over a minute and centers around Thor’s heartfelt prayer before he heads into what may be his final battle.
In his monologue, Thor admits that he’s spent his entire life answering the call of honor, duty, and war—but now fate has given him something he never sought: a child, and “a life untouched by the storm.”
The teaser clearly raises the stakes for Thor’s character: the prayer scenes and focus on his daughter are fueling speculation about a possible sacrifice in his showdown with the film’s main antagonist, Doctor Doom, portrayed by Robert Downey Jr.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to premiere on December 18, 2026. In the previous teaser, Marvel showcased Steve Rogers, once again played by Chris Evans.
