The Exact Digital Release Date for Predator: Badlands Has Been Revealed

The sci-fi action film Predator: Badlands, directed by Dan Trachtenberg, now has an official streaming release date. The movie originally premiered in theaters this past November.

The digital release is set for early 2026—specifically, January 6. The Blu-ray physical release is scheduled for February 17.

Set in the distant future on another planet, the story follows a young outcast Yautja named Dek, who forms an uneasy alliance with a Weyland-Yutani android named Tia. Together, they embark on a dangerous hunt for the ultimate predator, as Dek must prove his worth to his clan and survive the unforgiving, hostile ecosystem that punishes every mistake.

The film is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who previously rebooted the franchise with Prey in 2022 and expanded it with the animated film Predator: Killer of Killers in 2025.

The lead roles in Badlands are played by Elle Fanning and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi. Notably, this time the story is told largely through the perspective of the Predator himself, highlighting his code of honor.
