Sophie Turner, who played Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, spoke about the preparations for filming a series based on Tomb Raider. The actress assures that the fans will get something special.
Sophie Turner became famous after the TV series Game of Thrones, where the actress played one of the key roles. Later, she participated in other well-known projects, for example, in some parts of the X-Men franchise.
Last year, it became known that Turner was to play the new Lara Croft in the upcoming Amazon series based on the Tomb Raider series of games.
"I can't say much, but my preparation began in February this year (2025). I've been training for a long time now, coming up on a year, and we're going to start shooting in January".
The actress added that she was very worried, but felt ready. In addition, she assured that she is on excellent terms with Amazon.
"I'm excited for the world to see what we do with Lara and Tomb Raider. I think it's going to be something special".
