New Supergirl Posters Feature Milly Alcock and Krypto the Superdog

Warner Bros. has released a fresh set of posters for the upcoming Supergirl film, a key entry in the newly rebooted DC Universe. The new visuals showcase the titular hero alongside her faithful companion, Krypto the Superdog.
Directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Ana Nogueira, the film is set to depart from traditional superhero tropes, instead delivering a gritty, cosmic adventure. The story follows Kara Zor-El, who spent her formative years surviving on a harsh, drifting fragment of Krypton. Hardened by her upbringing, Kara teams up with Krypto and a young alien named Ruthye Marye Knoll on a quest for vengeance across the galaxy to hunt down those responsible for the death of the girl's family.
The star-studded cast features Milly Alcock in the lead role, joined by Matthias Schoenaerts, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, Eve Ridley, and Jason Momoa. Supergirl is currently slated for a theatrical release on June 26, 2026.
In other DC news, recent reports indicate that Sebastian Stan, best known for his role as Bucky Barnes in the MCU, has been cast as Harvey Dent in The Batman: Part II. This follows the recent digital debut of the animated feature Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires on HBO Max.
