British actor Henry Cavill has unveiled the first images from the upcoming Highlander movie, a reboot of the legendary franchise. The film is directed by Chad Stahelski, best known for his work on John Wick.

The film will tell the story of Scottish swordsman Connor MacLeod, a member of a clan of immortal warriors. The main character has lived for more than four centuries, battling other immortals throughout history.

The cast also includes Russell Crowe, Dave Bautista, and Karen Gillan.

The premiere is tentatively expected in 2027.

Rumor has it that Henry Cavill may also appear as The Beyonder in Avengers: Secret Wars.
