Bowser Jr. Strikes—New Clip from The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Showcases More Animated Action

Animation studio Illumination has released a brand-new clip from the upcoming animated film The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, featuring Bowser Jr., Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi. The video runs just 30 seconds.

In the clip, the heroes encounter Bowser Jr., who attacks Mario—only for Yoshi to step in and defuse the situation.

The animated film will also feature Princess Peach, Toad, Kamek, and Rosalina. The premiere is set for April 1 this year.

Previously, posters and a full-length trailer for the movie were released online.

Back in January, reports surfaced that Nintendo is aiming to expand its franchises with more movies and anime. A film based on The Legend of Zelda is also currently in development.

Do you think The Super Mario Galaxy Movie can surpass the success of the previous animated film? And which character do you think will become the fans’ favorite this time?
