Pixar has released the trailer for the upcoming animated film Toy Story 5, directed by Andrew Stanton. The trailer shows the classic toys facing off against a smart tablet that’s increasingly capturing Bonnie’s attention.
This time, the familiar world of toys is shaken up by the arrival of a new tablet, Lillipad, which tries to impose its own ideas about the best way to play with Bonnie.
The trailer features the long-awaited reunion of Woody and Buzz after Woody chose to help lost toys at the end of Toy Story 4. The toys now find themselves up against modern technology, and the story brings together both beloved and new characters.
A brand-new poster featuring the main characters has also surfaced online.
Toy Story 5 is set to premiere on June 19 this year. Previously, we also covered the new teaser for the animated film The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
