Stranger Things: Tales from '85 Posters Reveal a Brand-New Heroine

Netflix has unveiled seven fresh posters for the upcoming animated series Stranger Things: Tales from '85, ahead of its premiere on April 23, 2026. While the artwork features several familiar faces, it also offers our first look at an entirely new character joining the Hawkins crew.

The newcomer is Nikki Baxter, described by showrunner Eric Robles as a 14-year-old student who recently moved from the East Coast. "She’s kind and loyal, unafraid to use her intimidating size and punk-rock look to warn off any bullies that might try to cross her," Robles noted. According to him, Nikki’s arrival will not only shake up the group’s dynamic but also bring forth threats unlike anything the teens have faced before.

Stranger Things: Tales from '85 is set between the second and third seasons of the original live-action series. In the winter of 1985, as the horrors of the Upside Down seemingly fade into the past, Eleven and her friends attempt to enjoy a normal life. However, something terrifying is awakening beneath a frozen Hawkins. The heroes must discover whether the threat stems from the Lab or the Upside Down itself to save their town once again.

The voice cast features Brooklyn Davey Norstedt, Luca Diaz, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport, Elisha Williams, Braxton Quinney, Ben Plessala, and Jeremy Jordan.
