Filming is set to kick off this April with a shake-up behind the scenes. Scott Chambers, who produced the first two installments and directed the recent Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare, is taking over the director's chair from Rhys Frake-Waterfield. Frake-Waterfield will remain on board as a producer, while the script was penned by Richard Stanley.

The creature cast includes George Drogo as Winnie-the-Pooh, Eddy MacKenzie as Piglet, Lewis Santer as Tigger, Marcus Massey as Owl, and Karol Stanisz as the man behind the Rabbit mask. The ensemble also features Shayli Reagan, Lauren Staerck, FiFi Anicah, Zena Donnelly, Kira Reed Lorsch, Belle Taylor, Jon Callaway, Fyn Phoenix, Paul Black, Leo Harris, and Richard Stanley himself.

In related news, a trailer for a gritty, "adult" take on Pinocchio recently dropped, continuing the trend of twisted childhood classics.
