Supergirl Trailer Drops Tomorrow — DC Studios Shares New Teaser
Tomorrow, Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios will unveil the new trailer for the upcoming Supergirl movie. To mark the occasion, the studios have released a short teaser clip. A new still featuring Lobo, played by Jason Momoa, has also surfaced online.
The film’s story unfolds on Kara Zor-El’s 21st birthday. Joined by Krypto, the superdog from Krypton, Kara sets off on a journey across the galaxy. Along the way, she meets a young alien girl, Ruthye Marye Knoll, and embarks on a bloody quest for revenge after Ruthye’s family is murdered.
The movie is directed by Craig Gillespie, with James Gunn and Peter Safran producing. The premiere is set for June 26 this year.
Supergirl is set in the same universe as the 2025 Superman film, which grossed $618.7 million on a $225 million budget and currently holds a 7.0 rating on IMDb. The sequel is expected to release in July 2027.
