Andy Serkis will return to the role of Alfred, Bruce Wayne's butler, in the sequel to Batman from director Matt Reeves. Filming will begin in June in London, according to Deadline.

This news may be important for fans, because Andy Serkis' participation was questionable. At the same time, he is working on the film The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum. He was lucky that the shooting was combined.

«I’m pretty certain it’s all going to work out. Yeah, we’re working on it, but I think it’s all looking good».
— Andy Serkis

At the same time, the actor noted that he would not immediately join the work on Batman. He will probably appear on the site by the end of the year.

Matt Reeves' other roles in the film will also be stellar. Harvey Dent can be played by Sebastian Stan, who is familiar to many from the role of Bucky Barnes in the Marvel films. In addition, Scarlett Johansson may join Batman 2.

But with the role of Christopher Dent, Harvey Dent's mentally ill father, everything is more complicated. Three famous actors have already refused to take on this character. The last one, by the way, was Daniel Craig, who referred to a busy filming schedule.

Will you be watching Matt Reeves' second Batman? What are your expectations for the film?
