Netflix has released a first-look teaser and officially titled the third season of its live-action One Piece series. The upcoming chapter is officially dubbed The Battle of Alabasta.

By kicking off production three and a half months ahead of the Season 2 premiere, Netflix has managed to shave about a year off the usual wait time. Produced in partnership with Shueisha and Tomorrow Studios, the new episodes are slated for a 2027 debut. This puts the gap between seasons at just 18 months—a significant improvement over the two-and-a-half-year wait fans endured after Season 1.

In a surprise move, Netflix also announced LEGO One Piece, a two-part animated special arriving on September 29. Created in collaboration with the LEGO Group, Shueisha, and Atomic, the project will retell the events of the first two live-action seasons in the signature LEGO style.

Previously, Toei Animation shared a teaser and release date for the spin-off One Piece: Heroines.
