Bloodborne will break out of the PS4: Sony is working on a movie based on the game, with a famous YouTuber as producer

Sony is working on an animated film based on Bloodborne. The producer will be the famous gaming blogger Jacksepticeye (31 million subscribers on YouTube), Dexerto reports.

Bloodborne was released 11 years ago, and is still a PlayStation 4 exclusive. Many fans have been waiting for Bloodborne 2, but the game has not received a release. Perhaps it's because FromSoftware president Hidetaka Miyazaki loves the original project too much, as he himself stated at the beginning of the year.

Anyway, now the franchise will live in the format of an animated film. There are few details, but it is known that the authors do not intend to smooth out the corners. The film received an R rating, which allows scenes of violence, sex, obscenity and the use of illegal substances in the frame.

It's hard to say yet what the viewer will see: an adaptation of the game's plot or a spin-off. There is also no information about the studio that is involved in the project.

The important point is that Jacksepticeye was appointed producer. After that, he stated on Reddit that Bloodborne is his favorite game out of all the existing ones.
