Stranger Things: Tales from '85 was released on Netflix and immediately received devastating reviews from viewers
Netflix has released an animated series set in the universe of Stranger Things. The new project is called Stranger Things: Tales from '85, and viewers have already appreciated the first episodes.
Tales from '85 became a spin-off of the original series. The audience will learn about the events that took place in the winter of 1985. Familiar characters will meet new monsters from zombie pumpkins to creeper-like creatures. They will have to investigate all the paranormal events in the city.
In addition to monsters, the authors have added new characters. For example, Nikki Baxter is a tall girl with a punk rock image. She was voiced by Odessa A'zion, who is familiar to many from the horror films Hellraiser and Until Dawn.
It is noted that the series turned out to be nostalgic and with a light horror atmosphere. However, the presentation here is more vibrant and family-friendly than in the original project.
However, the audience coldly greeted Stranger Things: Tales from '85. The first episode received 4.9 out of 10 points on IMDb, and the second — 4.8 points. However, there are no more than 400 estimates yet, so the situation may change in the future.
The original series Stranger Things ended last December. Matt and Ross Duffer then stated that there would be no sequel, because it would only make money.
