Watch the first teaser for Ted Lasso season 4 — premieres August 5

Apple TV has unveiled the first teaser for season 4 of Ted Lasso and announced the premiere date. The new episodes will start airing on August 5, 2026, with a total of 10 episodes in the season.

According to the plot, Ted Lasso will return to Richmond, but this time he will coach a women’s football team competing in the second division. Apple describes it as the character’s “biggest challenge”: in the new season, Ted and his team will have to take risks and learn to act without hesitation.

Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift will reprise their roles. New cast members include Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely.

Season 3 of Ted Lasso concluded in May 2023 and was long considered the finale. However, Apple ultimately decided to continue one of its most popular and successful modern series — the show has won 13 Emmy Awards and two Golden Globes.
