First Trailer Drops for Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender Animated Movie

Paramount Pictures has officially released the first trailer and confirmed the release date for the upcoming feature-length animated film, Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender.

The movie follows the original series' heroes as adults, forcing them to band together once again to face a brand-new threat. Original creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko are steering the project, with Lauren Montgomery directing. The star-studded voice cast features Eric Nam as Aang, Jessica Matten as Katara, Steven Yeun as Zuko, and Roman Zaragoza as Sokka. Meanwhile, Dave Bautista lends his voice to the film's new antagonist, Tagaka.

The film is set to premiere on July 25, 2026, exclusively on the Paramount+ streaming service.

As a quick reminder, the franchise is having a massive week: Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is also launching on July 23, bringing together characters from both Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. The developers recently dropped a fresh trailer for the game.
