X-Men '97 Officially Renewed for Season 4

Marvel Studios has officially greenlit a fourth season of the hit animated series X-Men '97. The announcement was made by studio executives during their panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026.
It was also revealed that Disney has already wrapped production on Season 3, which is scheduled to premiere in 2027. Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum previously shared his long-term vision for the acclaimed animated show, stating that he would ideally love to see it run for up to 10 seasons.
As a reminder, Season 2 just kicked off on July 1. The current storyline follows the original X-Men team after they were split up and scattered across three completely different timelines—the past, present, and future. This season features Apocalypse as the primary antagonist, alongside Rama-Tut, a variant of Kang the Conqueror. With the core X-Men missing from the present day, the government-sponsored mutant team X-Factor has stepped up to keep the peace.
