Astartes 2 Gets December 2026 Release Window on Warhammer TV

Alongside a few seconds of new footage, Games Workshop has finally given Astartes 2 a December 2026 premiere window on Warhammer TV.
The first teaser for Astartes 2 appeared back in January 2025. It did not include footage from the sequel itself and instead focused on the characters' past, so there is still very little to go on beyond the brief glimpse Games Workshop shared.
Syama Pedersen is working on the sequel together with the Warhammer Studio team. The original Astartes was a YouTube mini-series created by Pedersen as a 3D artist, and the first season consisted of five short episodes.
For now, the number of episodes in Astartes 2 is still unknown. Games Workshop also said it will show four new animated series for Warhammer TV across Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar, adding to the lineup around the upcoming release.
With only a few seconds of footage shown and the plot still a mystery, Astartes 2 remains one of the more elusive Warhammer projects on the way.
It is worth mentioning that a new cinematic trailer for the strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 was recently released, showcasing the Kronus tomb world and the Necrons.
