First Footage From Netflix's Assassin's Creed Series Leaks Online, Showing Ancient Rome Sets

The first behind-the-scenes footage from the set of Netflix's upcoming Assassin's Creed series has surfaced online. The 27-second clip offers a glimpse at the show's elaborate sets, which, as previously reported, are based in Ancient Rome.
The leaked video shows a ruined hall filled with towering Roman columns, piles of rubble, and a massive stone throne. Most notably, the throne features the iconic Assassin's Creed emblem carved into its back.
The footage appears to be a behind-the-scenes recording that was accidentally leaked online. So far, Netflix has not commented on the authenticity of the video.
It was previously confirmed that Toby Wallace, best known to many viewers for his role in Euphoria, will lead the series. The project is being directed by Johan Renck, the award-winning filmmaker behind Chernobyl.
Netflix has yet to announce a release date for the Assassin's Creed series.
