First Look at Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 Revealed

At the D23 expo, Marvel Animation officially unveiled the first look at the second season of the animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.

The upcoming season will see a more experienced and upgraded Peter Parker, though the stakes are about to get much higher. The new episodes will dive deeper into the Venom symbiote storyline. Following a massive blunder by Peter and Doctor Strange, the alien organism ended up on Earth and, by the finale, fell straight into the hands of Norman Osborn. Season 2 is also set to introduce Gwen Stacy (alongside her superhero alter-ego, Spider-Gwen) and reporter Eddie Brock, while Doctor Octopus will take center stage as the main villain.

The new season is scheduled to premiere in January 2027 exclusively on Disney+.

Earlier, it was reported that the superhero blockbuster Spider-Man: Brand New Day has crossed the $2 billion mark at the global box office. Prior to that, Marvel released a new official poster for Avengers: Doomsday, showcasing the film's titular villain.
