Robert Pattinson says The Batman: Part II fights are harder now

Robert Pattinson will be spending the rest of the year in London as The Batman: Part II continues filming in the UK, and he says the sequel's fight scenes are leaving him "definitely feeling my age."
In his interview with GQ, Pattinson said the physical side of the role has become more demanding than it was on the first film.
I'm definitely feeling my age when fighting a lot. I'm literally like, "Goddamn, this is significantly harder than it used to be." But it's really fun. And I think the movie's going to be pretty great. It's got a really, really fun cast, but it's a marathon.
Pattinson also confirmed that he was the rider in a leaked motorcycle set photo, laughing off the fan speculation around the image. He described the production as a marathon.
The sequel is being directed by Matt Reeves, who co-wrote the screenplay with Mattson Tomlin. According to the available plot details, the story will take place in winter and continue Batman's investigation into corruption in Gotham after the city's flooding.
The Batman: Part II is now set to open in theaters on February 18, 2028. Before landing on that date, the film was previously dated for October 2025, then October 2026, and later October 1, 2027.
The current shoot is underway in Glasgow, Scotland, and Pattinson's comments suggest the sequel's action scenes are taking a bigger toll this time. Does a longer wait between films make that kind of physical realism more convincing, or just more tiring?
