Journalist hints a Bloodborne-related announcement at State of Play
Tonight, Sony will hold a half-hour State of Play presentation, showcasing several upcoming novelties. Bloodborne fans have already lost hope of hearing any news, but it might happen that the FromSoftware game will indeed appear in some form.
This was hinted at by former Game Informer editor Imran Khan, who responded to a post by YouTuber Maximilian Dood. The blogger promised to «shit a chicken live on stream» if any Bloodborne-related announcement is made during the presentation, after which the journalist asked him to clarify what exactly he means by any announcement and whether a character cameo counts as one.
There is a suspicion that Imran Khan was teasing a new project by Team Asobi, which is supposed to be announced at State of Play. The studio is known for the free platformer Astro's Playroom, which included dozens of references to various PlayStation games, including Bloodborne.
Let's hope the YouTuber repeats the fate of the infamous Redditor JohnnyRockhard62. He, as you may recall, promised to drink urine if there were any official news about GTA 6, and just a few days later, Rockstar announced the first trailer.
Previously, Imran Khan reported that Sony was indeed working on some kind of Bloodborne remaster, but then shelved the development.
