PlayStation 5 Pro Reveal Videos Receive Tens of Thousands of Dislikes

Yesterday's announcement of the PlayStation 5 Pro did not go very well. The presentation of the more powerful console was criticized for the lack of visible improvements and the excessively high price (700 dollars). As a result, videos on the official PlayStation YouTube channel were «bombarded» with dislikes.

At the time of writing, the presentation with lead architect Mark Cerny has 88 thousand likes and 123 thousand dislikes. The short announcement video of the console fared even worse — it currently has 51 thousand likes and 154 thousand dislikes.

It has already been noted online that these are the most disliked Sony videos in 2024. For comparison, the gameplay trailer for Concord, whose servers were shut down after two weeks, received only 7.8 thousand likes against 75 thousand dislikes.

Sales of the PlayStation 5 Pro will begin on November 7.
