The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Turns 13!
November 11, 2024, 01:53 PM
Today marks another birthday for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, as the legendary RPG turns 13! On November 11, 2011, players first encountered the Dovahkiin, faced a dragon attack, and met the guard with an arrow in his knee.
Since then, Skyrim has received several re-releases and countless mods of varying quality. A full remake of Oblivion is even being developed on Skyrim's engine, with plans for release next year.
Fans celebrated the occasion online, joking that the game has officially hit its teenage years while waiting for the sixth installment. The game was announced back in 2018, yet we've heard no major updates since.
