Phil Spencer: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Could Become One of 2024's Favorite Games

In addition to his talk with Bloomberg, Phil Spencer also gave an interview to journalist Stephen Totilo. During the conversation, the Xbox head discussed some of the most anticipated games, one of which is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.

Spencer shared that GSC Game World has thoroughly polished the shooter, giving it a strong chance to be one of 2024's standout releases.

The fact that the game is shipping all up is just remarkable. The quality has really come a long way, and I'm proud that we got to partner [with them] to get that game done. I think it's going to be on some people's lists of their favorite game of the year.

When asked about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2's exclusivity, Spencer responded that he couldn't recall the exact details of the deal. According to a previous leak, the game is expected to launch on PlayStation 5, but only three months after its initial release.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is set to release on November 20 on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The game's system requirements can be viewed here.
