Mobile gaming enthusiasts are putting the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Elite processor through its paces. Twitter user @cozy_OSS tested the chip with several PC games, showcasing its capabilities.
Using the GameFusion emulator, which allows resource-heavy games to run on Android smartphones, Cyberpunk 2077 achieved a stable 60 frames per second. However, this performance required reducing the resolution to 720p and setting graphics to their lowest.
The blogger noted that the Android version of Cyberpunk 2077 has occasional visual bugs, though they don't significantly affect gameplay.
Additional test results for other games, such as GTA 5 and The Witcher 3, can be found in gameplay videos shared in a separate post.
