A Steam page has appeared for Anno 117: Pax Romana, the next installment in Ubisoft's city-building simulation series. While pre-orders aren't yet available, players can add the game to their wishlist.
Set in 117 AD during the height of the Roman Empire, Anno 117: Pax Romana puts players in the role of a Roman governor tasked with shaping the future of the mighty empire. Players will manage territories, build cities, develop the economy, expand their influence, conquer neighbors, and unite disparate peoples. The presence or absence of Denuvo anti-cheat protection has yet to be confirmed.
Developed by Ubisoft Mainz (Germany), Anno 117: Pax Romana is slated for release in 2025 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The previous installment in the series, Anno 1800, launched in 2019 to critical acclaim (82/100 on OpenCritic) and strong player reception (82% positive reviews on Steam).
