Leak: Assassin's Creed: Shadows Artbook Surfaces on Hentai Site

Assassin's Creed: Shadows is still nearly two months away from release, but its entire artbook has already leaked online. Anonymous users uploaded the 256-page book, making it available ahead of schedule.
In a bizarre twist, the leak initially appeared on E-Hentai, a site known for Japanese erotic content. While the page featuring the artbook has since been taken down, players managed to save the file before its removal.
The artbook is divided into several chapters, offering insight into the game's protagonists, key story characters, major locations, and in-game interface. It also contains a few plot spoilers.
In the foreword, Assassin's Creed: Shadows art director Thierry Dansereau reveals that the development team had long dreamed of creating a game set in Japan and worked closely with historians to ensure authenticity:
History has always been the playground of Assassin's Creed, and we take great pride in being accurate and true to the historical timeline and culture. For this game we've doubled, if not tripled, the effort to make sure that we had a thorough understanding of the Japanese culture of this time period. We worked with historians, experts, and Ubisoft local team members to ensure our game was respectful of Japanese culture anul the historical background.
Assassin’s Creed: Shadows launches on March 20 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.
