«Ooops!»: Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Becomes the Most Pre-Ordered Game on Steam

Scandals surrounding Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and the "mass cancellations" of pre-orders apparently haven't hurt the game. According to Steam data, the historical action game currently sits at the top of the best-selling games list (excluding F2P and Steam Deck sales).

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has managed to outpace pre-orders for Civilization 7 and Monster Hunter Wilds, as well as Red Dead Redemption 2, which recently broke its own online record. Compared to last week, the Warhorse game jumped up 18 positions.

If we also consider free-to-play titles, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is only surpassed by Counter-Strike 2. Here’s how the current top 10 in the list looks:

By the way, lead developer of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Daniel Vavra, has already reacted to the news of the impressive pre-orders. Vavra posted a screenshot of the Steam page and, not forgetting to troll the haters, simply captioned it: "Ooops!"
