Did CDPR «Fix» Ciri's Look? Fans Debate Her Appearance in the Latest The Witcher 4 Video

Last night, CD Projekt RED released a ten-minute behind-the-scenes video detailing the making of The Witcher 4’s first trailer. However, what caught most fans' attention was Ciri—who appears noticeably different from her last appearance.
The developers showcased an updated model of the character, and this time, she looks different. When The Witcher 4 was first announced, many gamers criticized Ciri’s design, claiming the artists had "ruined" her face. Now, however, her features seem more familiar. Some speculate that lighting and fisheye lens distortions played a role in the initial perception.
Fans seem pleased with this "new" version of Ciri, but opinions remain divided. Some believe her model was never changed, while others argue that CDPR caved to fan pressure and adjusted her appearance.
As a reminder, The Witcher 4 does not yet have a release date. CDPR is also working on a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel and an original IP.
