CD Projekt Fully Absorbs Multiplayer Witcher Spin-Off Developer
April 9, 2025, 05:07 PM

The Molasses Flood, the studio behind the upcoming multiplayer Witcher spin-off, has officially merged with CD Projekt. The news was shared in a brief statement published on the developer’s website.
CD Projekt originally acquired The Molasses Flood back in 2021, but until now the team operated as a separate legal entity. As of April 1, the studio has been fully integrated into CD Projekt RED.
The team’s plans remain unchanged — they are still actively working on the Witcher-related title. However, no new details have been revealed, as the project was rebooted in 2023.
