KBDcraft Unveils Keyboard You Can Customize with Lego Bricks

KBDcraft has introduced its latest mechanical keyboard, the Sachiel, which takes modular design to the next level by being fully compatible with Lego bricks. The TKL (tenkeyless) keyboard skips the number pad and features a body built specifically for integrating Lego elements into its design.

The focus here is flexibility: six navigation keys on the right can be replaced with four rotary encoders — or reconfigured entirely using Lego-compatible blocks. Want to turn those slots into storage compartments or just give your keyboard a unique look? Just snap on some Lego parts.

Like previous KBDcraft models, Sachiel supports the open-source QMK firmware and VIAL web app for remapping keys, customizing lighting, and setting up macros. The gasket-mounted build provides a soft, cushioned typing feel, while the Lego compatibility lets you tweak the keyboard’s shape and height with plastic spacers.

While exact switch types and connectivity options haven’t been revealed yet, KBDcraft says Sachiel will stick with its signature Lego-inspired aesthetic. The keyboard is set to launch on Kickstarter in April, with an estimated price of $100–130. According to the developers, the higher price point reflects not just the modular features but also the custom case design made to support Lego mounting.
