EA Shows Off Revamped Plants vs. Zombies 3

In the fall of 2024, EA took down the servers for Plants vs. Zombies 3, which had been in a kind of early access period, and announced a major overhaul of the project. On April 18, 2025, the company launched an open beta test for the revamped version.
Unfortunately, you can't just jump in and play Plants vs. Zombies 3 right now, as the beta is currently only available in Taiwan. However, you can get a glimpse of the project's transformation in the gameplay trailer below.
Several screenshots of the new version have also surfaced online.
There's currently no word on when the full game will be released.
In related news, a new version of TMNT: Shredder's Revenge recently launched on Android and iOS, this time without requiring a Netflix subscription. And just before that, Ubisoft released a mobile version of the metroidvania Prince of Persia: Lost Crown, one of the best Prince of Persia games in recent memory, for free on Google Play and the App Store.
