Delta Force Goes Mobile: Battlefield-esque Shooter Launches Globally on iOS and Android

The free-to-play online shooter Delta Force, often compared to Battlefield for its large-scale battles and vehicle combat, has officially launched its mobile version globally on the Google Play Store and App Store.

Developed by a Chinese studio, Delta Force's mobile iteration boasts a robust offering at launch, including 7 maps for Battles, 4 maps for Operations, 10 unique operators, a hefty arsenal of 55 firearms, and 12 types of vehicles spanning land, sea, and air. The developers have pledged ongoing support, promising regular content updates to keep the game fresh.

Meanwhile, the PC version of the game kicked off Season 4, titled Eclipse Vigil, on April 21st. This update introduces the Knox assault operator, the Trenches — Night map for Battles, the Zero Dam — Night map for Operations, a new GTQ-35 light tactical vehicle, a new flamethrower, the K437 assault rifle, and the 725 double-barreled shotgun.

The PC version of Delta Force originally launched on December 5th, 2024, and saw a strong start on Steam, peaking at around 130,000 concurrent players. The game is also slated for a console release before the end of 2025.
