Sony Drops New Trailer for Ghost of Yotei — Launch Set for October 2

Sony and Sucker Punch have dropped a brand-new trailer for Ghost of Yotei, confirming the samurai action game will release on October 2 exclusively for PlayStation 5.
The trailer offers plenty of fresh footage and reveals the game's narrative setup, which bears a strong resemblance to Assassin’s Creed Shadows: a masked gang, a heroine seeking revenge for her slain family, and a journey driven by justice.
One standout moment is a flashback where protagonist Atsu returns to her childhood. It appears the older Atsu will revisit key locations from her past to relive pivotal memories that shaped her.
Pre-orders go live on May 2. The game will be available in three editions: Standard ($70), Deluxe ($80) and Collector’s Edition, which includes in-game bonuses along with physical items like a Ghost mask, katana tsuba, sash, ginkgo tree diorama, collectible coins, and a postcard set.
While Ghost of Yotei is launching exclusively on PS5, a PC version may follow at a later date.
