Polish business outlet Parkiet has published a new interview with CD Projekt’s CFO Piotr Nielubowicz, offering insight into what’s ahead for the studio’s two flagship franchises: The Witcher and Cyberpunk.
- Next week marks the 10th anniversary of The Witcher 3. While the highlight will be a global concert tour, CD Projekt has a few more surprises in store;
- The Witcher 4 is shaping up to be an even more ambitious project than its predecessor, with the team aiming to reach a broader audience than ever before;
- The game isn’t expected to launch before late 2026;
- The next title likely to arrive is Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition for Nintendo Switch 2. CD Projekt has high hopes for the port, citing Nintendo’s massive audience and strong early feedback from journalists;
- The sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 is the company’s fastest-growing project. More than 90 developers are working on it now, and that number is expected to reach 160 by the end of 2025;
- CD Projekt is pleased with progress on Cyberpunk 2, which is nearing the pre-production phase;
- An animated film and a Hollywood adaptation of Cyberpunk 2077 are also in the works;
- Meanwhile, Project Hadar—CD Projekt’s first original IP—is starting to gain momentum.
Earlier, the studio released an anniversary artwork in celebration of The Witcher 3’s 10th birthday.
