Caged Element has announced that Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks will be launching its 1.0 update and exiting Early Access on May 22nd. The release also marks the shift to a premium pricing model.
While the developers haven't revealed the full details of the update just yet, they have teased the addition of private matches, a new free-roam mode where players can explore any map at their leisure, and the removal of the mandatory PROS account link. The team also confirmed that players who claimed the game during its free-to-play Early Access period will retain access.
Notably, May 22nd also plays host to Warhammer Skulls 2025, a showcase that promises new content reveals for a whole host of Warhammer titles, including Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, Total War: Warhammer, Blood Bowl 3, Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus, Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector, Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide and more.
And speaking of Space Marines, in March, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 was announced.
