Microids Announces Remaster of Classic Adventure Game Syberia

Microids has announced a remaster of the beloved 2002 point-and-click adventure game, Syberia. A Steam page for the updated version is already live, offering a sneak peek at the enhancements with first details and screenshots.
According to the announcement, the remaster will feature updated environments and character models, enhanced graphics, reworked puzzles, a refined user interface, and modernized controls. System requirements have not yet been revealed.
The Syberia remaster is slated for release in Q4 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The most recent installment in the series, Syberia: The World Before, was released in 2022. The game was generally well-received by critics (80/100 on OpenCritic) and players alike (89% positive rating on Steam). In related news, a complete remake of an older adventure game from has been released on Steam, GOG and consoles. It was created by the creator of Syberia.
